HSM Contracting is currently completing a large-scale road improvement program involving the widening and upgrading of over 400 kilometres of unsealed rural and regional roads in the Isaac Region. Delivered in partnership with the Isaac Regional Council, this work aims to improve road safety, accessibility, and durability for local communities, transport operators, and emergency services.

The scope of work includes clearing and preparation of existing road corridors, widening of road formations to specified design widths, supply, placement and compaction of imported gravel pavement materials, installation of drainage improvements including table drains, traffic management in accordance with relevant safety standards, and final trimming, rolling, and quality assurance testing. The project works are delivered across diverse and remote locations, with HSM Contracting maintaining strong productivity while managing challenging weather and logistics.
