HSM Contracting engaged to provide plant, equipment, and labour to undertake the construction of a new substation at Peak Downs Mine.

Works included the removal of 15000 m2 of unsuitable material, reinstallation of twenty thousand m2 CBR material place and compact, construction of stormwater pits and trenching excavation for conduit installation including any temporary shoring, drainage, and dewatering to facilitate the works and disposal of surplus material.

HSM’s mobilised plant was used in the bulk earthworks crews for the works, which was accomplished by the company’s skilled multi-skilled plant operators.
